Restaurant Manager required in Cape Town

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities : Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and adherence to brand standards. Lead, motivate, and supervise all store staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Manage staff rosters, attendance, and performance to ensure optimal shift coverage and productivity. Conduct on-the-job training and coaching to build a skilled and customer-focused team. Ensure strict food quality, hygiene, and safety compliance in line with company policies and health regulations. Monitor and control costs, including labor, wastage, and stock, to achieve profitability targets. Maintain accurate cash handling and daily banking procedures in accordance with audit requirements. Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier management to ensure consistent product availability. Analyze sales reports and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements. Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally to maintain brand reputation. Ensure marketing and promotional activities are implemented effectively at store level. Uphold disciplinary standards, compliance, and HR procedures in line with company policies.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements : Minimum 3 years' experience as a Fast Food / QSR Store Manager. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage high-volume operations and deliver on KPIs. Tertiary qualification in Business, Hospitality, or Management advantageous. Computer literacy (MS Office, POS systems).

Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
