Pro Select Consulting is seeking a mid-level merchandiser to bridge retail customers with design, production and the factory floor. You will manage your own SA retail accounts from range presentation through to delivery, ensuring the right product at the right cost is delivered on time and in full.

You will liaise with design, technical, sourcing and logistics teams, monitor margins and lead times, and manage stock, WIP and fabric availability while meeting quality and labeling standards.

Qualifications

• Matric with a tertiary qualification or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Clothing & Textile or Supply Chain (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years merchandising or production-planning experience in apparel, ideally on supplier/manufacturer side.
• Experience with SA retailers and their processes.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims and costing.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
• Experience with an ERP or order management system.

Responsabilités

• Manage assigned retail accounts with buyers and merchandise planners as daily contacts.
• Prepare for range presentations and buyer meetings including sample requests, costings and line sheets.
• Track orders from confirmation to delivery and maintain POs, order books and shipment schedules.
• Build and monitor critical paths and time‑and‑action calendars; chase milestones.
