SUMMARY :

Somerset West Area – Western Cape : To ensure that the company continually sources and produces high-quality fruits which meet specific market demands in a timely & cost-effective manner in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards.

POSITION INFO : MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Business or Management related.
  • An advance degree in a relevant subject matter field will be desirable.
  • Must be highly proficient in English.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of exposure in the citrus / grapes industry from grassroots processes to quality requirements.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years established in external grower relations.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years engaging with executives, leaders, production personnel, and external grower partners.
  • General agricultural knowledge.
  • General business acumen.
  • Computer packages & system(s) currently in use by the company.
  • Optimise people performance and effective management of HR & talent.
  • Ability to manage budgets, cashflows, financial planning and analysis.
  • Ability to manage operations efficiently.
