About the Role

Our client, a progressive agricultural group with extensive operations in Sandton, Gauteng , is seeking a dedicated Farm Sustainability Coordinator. This role is essential for ensuring that all farming activities meet rigorous environmental standards and sustainability goals. The coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring sustainability initiatives, including water conservation, waste management, biodiversity protection, and carbon footprint reduction. This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for environmental stewardship and a strong understanding of agricultural practices and regulations. You will play a key role in shaping the company's commitment to sustainable agriculture in a dynamic urban-adjacent setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability plans and strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on key environmental performance indicators (e.g., water usage, energy consumption, waste generation, emissions).
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits for farm operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and permits.

Requirements
