About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Farm Operations Manager to lead their agricultural operations in the fertile region of Upington . This crucial on-site role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of large-scale farming practices, particularly in arid and semi-arid environments. You will be responsible for the efficient management of all farm activities, from cultivation and irrigation to harvest and logistics, ensuring optimal resource utilization and profitability. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager to oversee significant agricultural production in the Northern Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day farming activities, including crop planning, planting, irrigation scheduling, pest and disease management, and harvesting.
• Manage and optimize the use of farm resources, including water, energy, labor, and machinery.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize crop yields and quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Farm Manager or in a similar senior agricultural operations role.
