About the Role

Our client, a large-scale agricultural enterprise with operations near Pretoria, is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Farm Operations Director. This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall management and optimization of integrated crop and livestock farming operations. The Director will oversee resource allocation, operational efficiency, technological adoption, and team performance across multiple farm units. Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all crop and livestock farming activities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop large teams.
• In-depth knowledge of modern agronomy, animal husbandry, and sustainable farming practices.
• Familiarity with agricultural technologies, including precision farming equipment and farm management software.
• Excellent strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly across farm sites near Pretoria.
