Qualifications

• Proven experience in supervising teams, preferably within an agricultural or outdoor labor environment.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a diverse workforce effectively.
• Practical knowledge of common farming practices and tasks.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to farm work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and direct the daily activities of farm laborers engaged in planting, cultivation, harvesting, and other farm tasks.
• Ensure all labor is utilized efficiently and effectively to meet operational targets.
• Monitor work performance, provide constructive feedback, and address any performance issues.
• Implement and enforce all company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety.
• Maintain accurate records of labor hours, tasks completed, and any incidents.
• Coordinate with farm managers and other supervisors to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Promote a positive and respectful work environment among the farm labor team.
• Identify training needs and assist in the development and implementation of training programs for laborers.
• Ensure the proper use and care of farm equipment and tools by the labor force.
