Job summary

FNB Points of Presence in Cape Town seeks a Branch Advisor to provide compliant, professional financial advice in a high-volume branch. You will build long-term client relationships, educate customers to the correct Banking channel, and maintain accurate records in line with FAIS, FICA and TCF.

The ideal candidate has Grade 12 and 1–3 years in customer-facing financial services, with a focus on ethical advice, sales and service targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
• Preferred: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, or related fields recognized by FAIS
• 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments, service delivery, or client support within financial services

Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term client relationships to support retention and growth
• Provide a positive customer experience by being helpful and sensitive to customer transactional needs and expectations
• Educate customers to the correct Banking platform aligned with their needs
• Connect with our customers by living up to our brand promise of “how can we help you?” at all times
• Analyze customer data and provide appropriate financial advice and solutions aligned to client financial goals and in accordance with FAIS requirements
• Maintain accurate and complete client records and documentation
• Achieve individual and branch sales and service targets

• Show empathy to customers
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge
