Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor in Vereeniging to lead the cleaning and sanitation team. You will supervise daily operations, enforce hygiene protocols and manage resources to maintain a clean, safe environment for staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership, strong knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, and the ability to train staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in environmental services or cleaning.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals and equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the environmental services team and ensure high standards.
• Schedule, supervise and train cleaning staff on proper procedures.
• Enforce hygiene, sanitation and safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness and address issues promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and maintain stock levels.
