Placements24 is seeking a diligent Facilities Cleaner to maintain a pristine environment at their Nelspruit premises. You will perform comprehensive cleaning of offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have cleaning experience, knowledge of sanitation techniques, and the ability to operate vacuums and floor buffers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cleaner or similar janitorial role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and sanitation techniques.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment like vacuums and floor buffers.
• Good physical condition with ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors, ensuring they are clean and safe.
• Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal and recycling procedures are followed.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment to prevent the spread of germs.
• Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Report any maintenance issues, such as leaks or damaged fixtures, to the facilities manager promptly.
