Qualifications

• Pest Control Fumigation Certificate from an accredited training provider.
• GFSI training certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.

• Oversee and support the full production cycle from raw material intake to finished product dispatch.
• Implement and uphold the company’s Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
• Ensure product quality and profitability with a focus on environmental goals.
• Enforce a strict zero-tolerance pest control policy.

SUMMARY

The purpose of the role is critical in supporting efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

POSITION INFO

Minimum requirements :

• Grade 12
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an extrusion plant operation ( / Food Manufacturing / Agricultural sector).
• From intake to final product, including packing, warehouse and stock control.
• Pest Control Fumigation Certificate from an accredited training provider - DAFF Certification (p-number) including : Structural Pest Control (Commercial & Domestic)Fumigation – Bag, Bulk & Structure
• GFSI training certificate or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License

Role and responsibilities

• Oversee and support the full production cycle from raw material intake to finished product dispatch.

• Support staff management across their lifecycle in the organization (hire to retire).
• Ensure a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and loss control accountability.
• Guarantee all products meet customer, company, food safety, and legal specifications.
