Requirements

  • 5 years sales and marketing experience within a target-driven environment
  • Must reside within the West Rand / North of JHB (non-negotiable)
  • Must be able to start immediately
  • Must have own vehicle (non-negotiable)

  • Computer knowledge - MS Office applications and Sage Pastel Evolution system
  • Building customer relationships
Responsibilities
  • Implement sales policies and strategy set by the sales manager
  • Support the sales team to achieve targets every month
  • Perform administrative duties such as taking orders, capturing orders on Pastel, and preparing reports if requested
  • Keep customer profiles and sales figures up to date
  • Professional telephone techniques and pleasant phone manners
  • Clarify, determine and properly adjust to complaints and inquiries
  • Liaise closely with accounts, purchasing, and production and dispatch departments
  • Customer visits
  • Remain up to date with sales information, stock availability, price strategies, and long-term negotiated activity while keeping the team updated on all issues
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Compile daily sales reports
