  • MC-2Our client, a well-established supplier in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Working at Heights (WAH) industry, is looking to appoint a young, dynamic External Sales Representative to join their Pretoria-based team.This position is ideal for a candidate with a passion for sales and business development, who is eager to grow within the safety gear industry and establish strong client relationships in the region.
Duties & Responsibilities

Purpose of the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business, managing client relationships, and promoting a wide range of PPE and WAH products.

The role involves external client visits, lead generation, and ongoing account development, with significant room for growth and earning potential.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and presentation skills.Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.Proficient in time management and self-organisation.Ability to work independently and part of a team.Curious nature / Willing to learn.Confident using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (advantageous).

Knowledge of PPE and WAH products (advantageous).

Key Responsibilities : Business Development : Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the PPE industry.Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and client visits.Client Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients to foster loyalty.Present and demonstrate a range of high-quality PPE & WAH products, emphasising their value and benefits.Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their requirements are met with appropriate solutions.Account Development : Develop and grow new accounts, ensuring they transition into long-term partnerships.Monitor and report on client feedback to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.Administrative Duties : Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account development in the CRM system.Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.Minimum RequirementsValid driver's license.Own, reliable vehicle.Sales experience, preferably in a similar or technical industry.Residence : Residing in Pretoria or nearby areas.Must be comfortable with face-to-face client interaction and working independently.
