As an External Sales Representative, youll take full ownership of your territory and be the driving force behind sales success:
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers and prospects.
Deliver powerful product presentations, demos, and tailored solutions.
Research leads, qualify prospects, and open new accounts to grow market share.
Consistently generate sales through direct interaction, proposals, and negotiations.
Analyze your territorys potential and create a strategic customer value plan.
Schedule and manage regular visits to high-impact clients.
Maximize your return on time investment by prioritizing key opportunities.
Work closely with internal teams (sales, logistics, technical, finance) to ensure smooth order execution and post-sales support.
Expedite problem resolution and deliver outstanding customer service.
Stay updated with latest product innovations, competitor activity, and industry trends.
Submit timely and accurate reports: forecasts, call logs, sales plans, and pipeline updates.
Assist with quotations, machine settings, pricing approvals, and invoicing.
Support junior sales reps, participate in trade shows, and champion our brand in the market.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and customer visit quotas.
Ensure all admin (Rep Reports, Call Logs, Pipeline) is up to date.
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and training certifications.
Required:
Grade 12 and a relevant diploma or degree
Proven sales or technical sales experience
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Drivers license and willingness to travel
Bonus if you have:
Experience in industrial equipment, machinery, or technical sales
Knowledge of tools like Power BI, AutoCAD, Solidworks
