We are looking for an experienced Exports Logistics Team Leader to join our Warehouse / Logistics team.

Responsibilities

The purpose of the role will be to focus on order fulfillment, directing and coordinating the team tasked with receiving & shipping of goods; making the shipping process more efficient and streamlining communications with carriers and the International Sales Team.

• Prepare shipping documentation, including packing lists, labeling, etc.
• Create and validate product workflow from origin to customer.
• Create Transfer Journals.
• Request and follow up on shipping quotes.
• Maintain communication with Freight Forwarders.
• Weekly status report to International Sales Team.
• Maintain ready for collection / shipping reports.
• Maintain warehouse accuracy with monthly stock takes.

Qualifications

• Strong warehousing background with at least 5 years experience in Logistics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and digitized warehouse environment.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a warehouse.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• SYSPRO knowledge.
• The ability to multitask.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Speak, read, and write English efficiently.
• Some heavy lifting may be required.
• Basic math skills are required.
