The Export Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing strategic business relationships with key distributors and retailers across the SADC (Southern African Development Community) region, driving sales growth of consumer electronics products including TVs, home appliances, and mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for major distributors and retailers across SADC countries
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across the product portfolio
  • Manage product lifecycle and inventory planning with key accounts
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
  • Negotiate commercial terms, trade agreements, and promotional activities
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential partners in the region
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform business strategy
  • Develop market entry strategies for new territories within SADC
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in different markets
  • Work with marketing teams to develop and implement trade marketing initiatives
  • Ensure proper product positioning and pricing strategies
  • Coordinate product launches and promotional campaigns
  • Provide product training to distributor and retailer teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in export sales or key account management
  • Proven track record in consumer electronics or similar consumer goods industry
  • Experience working in SADC markets
  • Strong knowledge of distribution channels in Southern Africa
