Job description
Introduction

Our client's main business is the distribution of a wide range of agricultural hygiene, veterinary and related products to the agricultural industry.

These include disinfectants, vitamins, vaccines, medications, feed additives, equipment, and rodenticides.

They are an ISO accredited company, and their Head Office is based in Pietermaritzburg.

The company has a national footprint with branches in Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal, Western Cape, and the Eastern Cape.

They also export to many African countries and have built a very strong client base with strategic business partners in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Lesotho, Swaziland, Tanzania and Kenya. They are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Sales Admin Coordinator who is looking to further their career and gain valuable experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare quotes, sales orders, invoices, and credit notes.
  • Answer phone calls and emails, ensuring all client enquiries and requests are taken care of.
  • Monitor and follow up on order progress and deliveries.
  • Assist with clearing of documents at the border to ensure smooth cross-border shipments.
  • Arrange inspections of orders prior to dispatch cross-border.
  • Coordinate logistics for cross-border transportation, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Ensure effective liaison between the production and procurement teams to meet order requirements.
  • Assisting the Sales Reps to maintaining and grow the business of current key clients and developing growth of new business through the promotion of the company's products and solutions.
  • Ensuring that price lists are up to date and sent out to customers
Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements :

  • Matric (Grade 12) is essential
  • Must be fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
  • Additional languages such as Portuguese and French are beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Computer literate, with solid experience in MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with Pastel (or similar accounting software) is advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years' proven experience as a Sales Administrator.
  • Experience in coordinating exports into Africa is beneficial
  • Able to multi-task, prioritise effectively, and work well under pressure
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrates good business ethics, integrity, and professional values
