Placements24 is seeking an Experienced Massage Therapist to join its wellness centre in Centurion. You will deliver therapeutic and relaxation massage services to a diverse client base, applying Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other modalities to promote recovery and well-being.

The role requires at least three years' hands-on experience, a recognized massage certification, strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and excellent communication to tailor sessions and educate clients.

Qualifications

• Certification in Massage Therapy from a recognized program.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a Massage Therapist.
• Proficiency in multiple massage techniques and modalities.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and hot stone massages, tailoring to clients.
• Conduct client assessments to understand medical history and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans addressing tension, stress, and pain.
• Maintain a clean, safe, tranquil treatment space adhering to hygiene standards.
• Educate clients on benefits and home care strategies.
• Keep knowledge up to date with new massage techniques.
