Qualifications

Are you a visionary school leader ready to make a lasting impact? My client is looking for an Executive Principal to take the reins at a well-established independent school in Pietermaritzburg, leading both Primary and Secondary phases (Grade R – 12).

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in strategy, compliance, and people management while remaining passionate about academic excellence.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead and manage the full school environment (Primary & Secondary).
  • Drive the strategic vision of the school and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Manage academic staff performance, professional development, and stakeholder relationships.

  • Ensure compliance, safety, and policy implementation.

What we're looking for
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years senior management experience in education.
  • 10+ years teaching experience (preferably High School).
  • Permanent SACE certificate and valid Police Clearance.
  • In-depth knowledge of CAPS & IEB curriculum, NPA, and NPPPPR.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office) and excellent English communication.
