Who are we?

Job Purpose

The Personal Assistant will provide administrative and organisational support to the Head of Alternative Distribution and the Head of Agency, ensuring that both Channel Heads can operate efficiently and effectively. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent time‑management, communication skills and attention to detail.

Output / Core Tasks
  • Proactively maintain appointment schedules by planning and scheduling meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Manage calendars and prioritise tasks to maximise productivity for both Channel Heads.
  • Prepare documents for meetings, including monthly reports and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Draft minutes during meetings and ensure that actions from meetings are reported in a timely manner.
  • Prepare payment requisitions for goods and services required by the Channel Heads.
  • Arrange meetings, catering and all relevant logistical requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and maintain professional relationships.
  • Manage communication with external stakeholders as required.
  • Receive and assist guests visiting the office.
  • Perform general administrative and ad‑hoc duties as required by the Channel Heads.
Qualification
  • Matric (Grade 12) or NQF Level 4.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in administration or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
Experience & Knowledge
  • At least three years of work experience in an administrative support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of business communication and correspondence.
