Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with organizational goals, identify growth opportunities, new markets, and emerging trends to drive revenue expansion, establish annual sales targets, forecasts, and budgets in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Revenue and Profitability Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue objectives, optimize product/service pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and profitability, monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective action when necessary.
- Sales Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high‑performing sales team, foster a results‑oriented culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, and innovation, develop and implement performance management systems and incentive structures.
- Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and nurture long‑term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, represent the organization at high‑level negotiations and industry events, ensure client satisfaction and loyalty by addressing concerns and delivering value.
- Sales Operations & Process Optimization: Streamline sales processes, tools, and systems to enhance productivity and efficiency, oversee the implementation of CRM systems to manage client data and sales pipelines, develop and monitor adherence to sales policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct in‑depth market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy, provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market dynamics, position the organization as a leader in its industry.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to the executive team, communicate sales goals, strategies, and expectations effectively across the organization, collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations) to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines, identify and mitigate risks associated with sales operations and client engagement.
- Position Outputs & Measures: New Leads / Opportunities, tenders pursued and concluded, client acquisition rates, sales volume by location, competitor pricing, existing client engagement, employee satisfaction, upsell / cross‑sell rates, net promoter score.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 5–10 years working experience.
- Proven experience in a sales environment (preferably in B2B or B2C sales).
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, market dynamics, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- High‑level proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
