About the role

Position Title : Executive Driver

A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities

The Driver will be responsible for providing safe, reliable and professional transportation the principal and designated personnel, and assist with office administration where required.

Driving executives in company cars for business purposes (may also perform personal tasks such as errands and shopping).

Driving shuttle buses to transport employees between office locations, from offices to production facilities, etc.

Performing basic vehicle maintenance (e.g., cleaning, inflating tires, checking fluid levels, etc.)

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Safely transport the principal and designated personnel to various appointments, meetings, events, and other locations as instructed.
  • Proactively plan and anticipate routes to guarantee punctual arrivals while minimising travel interruptions.
  • Monitor traffic conditions and adjust the schedule as needed to accommodate any changes.
  • Ensure readiness for immediate deployment at any given moment.
  • Ensure a comfortable and positive experience for the Principal and passengers.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in excellent condition, ensuring all necessary communication and emergency equipment is securely stored.
  • Regularly service the vehicle according to maintenance records and as required.
  • Report any maintenance concerns and verify the quality of repairs from service centres.
  • Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion at all times.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with the handling of luggage and other items as needed.
  • Ply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safe driving practices.
What You Bring
  • Minimum Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
  • Must hold a valid PDP License.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Previous executive or chauffeur driving experience.
  • Completed accredited advanced driver training.
  • fortable with technology and experienced in driving automatic vehicles.
  • Capable of handling minor roadside emergencies.
  • Strong knowledge of Gauteng's geographical areas, especially Johannesburg, including safe and alternative routes.
  • Reliable, neat and hard-working individual.
  • A high degree of concentration, attention to detail, accurate observation skills, and the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Flexibility to work unconventional hours.
  • Police clearance.
  • PSIRA Grade C Training advantageous.
