Powered by Standard Bank, OneFarm Impact was developed to support OneFarm Share, a platform designed to take a sector-wide view of agriculture and works to create a more inclusive and efficient agri-food chain by addressing key challenges related to reduction of food waste, socio-economic development, and alleviating hunger.

These two platforms complement each other in order to build a cohesive eco‐system that uplifts and upskills farmers, and empowers donors.

OneFarm Impact is seeking a visionary Executive Director with deep roots within the agricultural sector to lead its next chapter.

By overseeing finance, fundraising, marketing, and programme delivery, you will be a results‑driven leader who can drive strategy and deepen stakeholder relations, possessing the gravitas to effortlessly connect with people on multiple levels.

You will context‑shift from boardrooms to field visits, navigate the worlds of corporates and farmers with ease, fostering mutual understanding and trust, and manage service provider relationships to ensure OneFarm Share achieves its goals.

Qualifications And Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field

An excellent, business‑savvy leader with a minimum of 8-10 years' senior management experience, with at least 5 years at director level

Exceptional understanding of the South African non‑profit, agricultural and food sectors.

Someone who can speak the language of these sectors

Strong financial acumen with proven track record in financial management, fundraising and stakeholder engagement

Experienced in managing third‑party service providers and complex programmes

Deep understanding of South African NPC regulatory best practice and sector dynamics

Exceptional communicator with the ability to build relationships across barriers

Strategic mind that can solve problems and make decisions effortlessly

Tech‑savvy with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new platforms with ease

Commitment to high ethical standards, social impact and food security
