A prestigious international law firm driving legal and commercial collaboration between South Africa and China is seeking a highly organised, bilingual Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to operate at the intersection of law, governance, and cross-border business.

The successful candidate will act as a key administrative and communication liaison between the Johannesburg and Beijing offices—ensuring seamless coordination of strategic, legal, and operational activities across both jurisdictions.

Executive & Board Support
  • Provide comprehensive executive and board-level support to the CEO, Chairman, and Directors.
  • Coordinate board and committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
  • Manage confidential correspondence and governance documentation in compliance with corporate standards.
  • Schedule and organise domestic and international meetings, events, and client engagements.
China‑South Africa Liaison
  • Translate and interpret documents, contracts, and communications between Mandarin and English accurately and contextually.
  • Facilitate cross‑cultural communication between Johannesburg and Beijing offices.
  • Provide logistical and professional support to visiting Chinese delegations, partners, and clients.
Administrative & Project Management
  • Manage executive calendars, travel itineraries, and logistics for international conferences and delegations.
  • Prepare executive reports, presentations, and briefing packs for high‑level meetings.
  • Support project tracking, compliance submissions, and documentation for cross‑border legal and trade initiatives.
  • Foster effective internal communication between the Board, management, and operational teams.
