Our client is a global media and events company focused on international education. They run a portfolio of industry events across different regions, offering sponsors opportunities for targeted engagement and brand exposure. Known for their professional delivery and client-focused approach, they are growing their events team in South Africa.

The Role: Events Executive

This role supports the successful delivery of global events by ensuring sponsor expectations are met and executed with precision. You will coordinate deliverables, maintain accurate communications, and help drive a professional and smooth sponsor experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in events or related coordination roles
  • Coordinate sponsor deliverables and ensure accurate, timely fulfilment
  • Serve as a key point of contact for sponsors, providing regular updates and clear communication
  • Support event logistics, timelines, and deliverable tracking
  • Assist with sponsor reporting, feedback, and post-event wrap-ups
  • Maintain up-to-date records using event management and CRM systems
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of multiple events across international time zones
About You
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in events, client services, or project coordination
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong multitasking ability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
  • Confident speaker, comfortable in client-facing conversations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with tools like Cvent, Evessio, or Hubspot is a plus
  • Bonus: basic design or formatting experience using Canva or PowerPoint
