A fast‑paced events and hospitality company is seeking hands‑on Event Managers to join their operations team in Selby. The business delivers large‑scale bar and hospitality services across multiple locations requiring strong organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to lead teams in a fluid and dynamic environment.
This is a people‑focused operational role suited to candidates who thrive under pressure, can manage teams of permanent and temporary staff and enjoy the energy of the events and hospitality industry.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Event Management or similar
- 3 to 5 years of experience in events
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (essential)
- Minimum 3 years of operations and team management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous events, hospitality or stadium experience highly advantageous
- Willingness to travel nationally and work long irregular hours including weekends and evenings
- Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage planning, setup and execution of bar/hospitality operations at stadiums and event venues
- Oversee a core team of 10 full‑time staff and temporary staff (ranging from 3 to 250 depending on event scale)
- Ensure punctual professional service delivery in line with client expectations
- Handle operational logistics including warehouse coordination, stock and equipment management
- Lead, motivate and support teams in high‑pressure, time‑sensitive environments
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transporters to ensure seamless event execution
- Provide hands‑on problem solving and adapt quickly to changing schedules and requirements
