Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Commercial Cleaner for the evening shift in Upington. You will perform daily cleaning tasks across offices and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to health and safety procedures. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, dusting, trash disposal, and responding to ad-hoc cleaning requests during the shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the shift.
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and their safe use.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of office spaces, hallways, and restrooms.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring all fixtures are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility and ensure proper disposal.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to maintain a clear and professional appearance.
• Respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests as needed during the shift.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company cleaning procedures.
