Job Title: Estate Manager - Elder-Care Facility

Oversee and manage the daily operations of a private elder-care establishment to ensure the smooth running of the estate and a comfortable living environment for residents. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance, staff, and service providers.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. Grade 12 / Matric
  2. Relevant diploma/degree in property management, hospitality, or facilities management (advantageous)
  3. Minimum 3-5 years in estate/facilities management, preferably within a residential or retirement community setting
  4. Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans
  5. Valid driver's license and own transport
Key Performance Areas:
  1. Oversee daily operations and maintenance of buildings, gardens, security, and infrastructure
  2. Manage relationships with external service providers and contractors
  3. Monitor budgets, manage estate expenses, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
  4. Manage estate staff, including housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams
  5. Serve as the primary contact for residents, addressing concerns and maintaining high service standards
  6. Identify areas for upgrades or improvements to enhance estate functionality and residents' quality of life
