Job Description
The primary purpose of this role is to provide assistance to the Team Leader: Office of the CFO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in facilitating on monitoring requests on Finance service desk
- Assist with requests for information for all audits
- Assist with the timely submission of reports to both internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with the daily ICT health checks
- Assist in collating committee meeting information
- Ensuring all registers are kept up to date
- Creation of purchase requisitions
- Attend to queries from internal stakeholders
- Monitor and flag tasks due using a Project Management tool
- Completion of reconciliations as needed
- Additional adhoc ICT, Finance and administrative tasks
- Arranging meetings and keeping minutes of meetings
- Assist the finance transactions and reporting teams as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- At least a Grade 12 (Matric)
- Positive approach and a can-do mindset
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (E-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Sound administrative, financial and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal; writing; and presentation skills.
- Ability to speak two of the Western Cape official languages.
- Ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn & travel.
- Possession of a valid code 8 driver’s license
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Accountancy or maths at matric level
- Experience External and Internal Audit / Finance / ICT background
- At least one year's experience in the field of External / Internal Audit
- Administrative / Management jobs
