About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant to provide strategic executive and business support to the Directors of NSW Public Works. This role ensures the seamless operation of their directorates by optimising time resources and decision-making efficiency.

Beyond traditional support this role drives business process improvements enhancing client engagement revenue generation and operational efficiency across NSW Public Works. Your ability to anticipate needs manage priorities and streamline executive functions will be key to success.

About You

To thrive in this role you will:

  • Deliver high‑quality executive and administrative support exercising discretion, initiative and confidentiality to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
  • Prepare and refine key business documents including minutes, agendas, presentations, correspondence, reports, briefing notes and submissions.
  • Optimise workflow and prioritisation managing communications and information flow to maximise executive efficiency.
  • Build, maintain and maximise relationships with staff, clients and stakeholders and play an active role in the development of a positive culture.
  • Leverage technology and digital tools to enhance productivity across multiple locations and to prepare documentation and presentation material to support aligned directorates and Group Directors.
  • Demonstrate initiative and adaptability balancing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience or exposure to the infrastructure advisory and delivery sectors and construction procurement will be an advantage helping you anticipate challenges and drive successful outcomes.
  • Hold a current NSW Driver Licence and be willing to travel to regional and remote locations including overnight stays.
