Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Environmental Services Technician in Tembisa to maintain hygienic spaces across facilities. You will perform cleaning tasks in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, sanitizing surfaces and disposing waste per procedures.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Training and protective equipment provided; flexible scheduling may be available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or environmental services preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and disinfectants.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and common areas.
• Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other high-traffic areas, ensuring proper use of disinfectants and cleaning agents.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste according to established procedures.

• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and protocols.
