About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Environmental Services Coordinator for their facilities in Port Elizabeth , operating under a hybrid model. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control are maintained, coordinating the activities of the environmental services team, and managing supplies. You will play a key role in developing and implementing protocols, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, balancing on-site oversight with remote administrative tasks. This position requires excellent organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily cleaning and sanitation schedules, ensuring efficient deployment of staff and resources.
• Oversee the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to assess cleanliness, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, detergents, and equipment, placing orders and maintaining stock levels.
• Develop and deliver training programs for environmental services staff on cleaning techniques, infection control, and safety procedures.
