Responsibilities include restroom maintenance, waste disposal, and operation of cleaning equipment. The role requires following health and safety protocols and adapting to occasional specialized tasks in the Mossel Bay facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or environmental services preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safe chemical handling.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good physical condition to stand, bend, lift, and reach.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in assigned areas.
• Maintain restrooms by cleaning fixtures, restocking supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately according to facility guidelines.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs.

• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and protocols during all work activities in Mossel Bay.
