Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on industrial processes.
- Solid understanding of environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance procedures.
- Experience with wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and waste management technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities related to environmental challenges.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental management plans and strategies.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance, ensuring compliance with permits and regulations.
- Design, install, and operate pollution control equipment (e.g., wastewater treatment, air emission controls).
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for new projects and modifications.
- Investigate and address environmental incidents or non-compliance issues.
- Provide technical expertise on environmental matters to internal teams and management.
- Stay updated on evolving environmental legislation and best practices.
