Job description

We are looking for an ambitious Chemical Engineering graduate who would like to build a professional career as a Project Sales Engineer within the commercial and industrial water treatment sector.

This is an entry-level graduate opportunity and no previous work experience is required, however 1 or 2 years post grad experience applicants are also welcome to apply.

The position is suited for someone who wants to combine their engineering knowledge with customer engagement, technical problem-solving, project development and commercial sales, and who has a passion for people, water treatment and projects.

You will develop practical experience in designing, proposing and delivering water treatment solutions to commercial and industrial clients in the private sector across South Africa.

The position is office-based in Kempton Park and will include customer meetings, site visits and local travel.

Requirements

• Have completed, or is close to complete, a BEng or BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering - and is able to commence in January 2027.
• Be ambitious, motivated and keen to learn.
• Be comfortable engaging with customers and developing professional relationships.
• Interested in both the technical and commercial sides of engineering.
• Willing and able to relocate to the Kempton Park/East Rand area on own cost.
• South African Citizen.
• Drivers license and own vehicle for daily commute to work.
• No criminal record - this will be verified.
