Job summary

Sasso Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking experienced Data Loss Prevention (DLP) specialists in Centurion to implement and manage enterprise DLP across endpoints, email, networks and cloud services. You will develop policies, classify sensitive data and investigate DLP incidents in a fast-paced security environment.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on DLP experience, strong data protection knowledge and the ability to optimise controls across hybrid and remote work contexts.

Qualifications

• Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• Typically 3–5 years hands-on experience in enterprise DLP administration or information protection engineering.
• Proven experience implementing, configuring or administering enterprise DLP technologies.
• Strong understanding of data protection and classification concepts.
• Experience developing and maintaining DLP policies and detection rules.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, administer and maintain enterprise DLP platforms across endpoints, email, networks and cloud data stores.
• Configure DLP policies, detection rules and enforcement actions; manage centralised consoles and dashboards.
• Investigate DLP alerts, incidents and suspected data exposure; coordinate remediation with security teams.
• Develop and optimise data protection policies; classify sensitive data and enforce protection labels.
• Collaborate with data owners, IT and security to ensure consistent data protection controls.
• Support integrations with cloud apps, CASB/SSE and enterprise security tooling.
