Job summary

A healthcare institution in Welkom is seeking a nurse to deliver safe, basic nursing care in accordance with the Scope of Practice. The ideal candidate will have a higher certificate in nursing and demonstrate essential nursing skills. Responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and ensuring patient safety. This position is on-site and permanent.

Qualifications

  • Higher certificate in nursing (or equivalent) is required.
  • CPD courses for specific specialties are desired.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Identify, prevent, and report risks to ensure patient safety.
  • Assist in creating a positive patient experience.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive records of nursing interventions.
  • Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
  • Ensure all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

Higher certificate in nursing (or equivalent)
