Job summary

Mediclinic is seeking a nurse to deliver safe, basic nursing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a private healthcare setting. You will report risks, contribute to a therapeutic environment and maintain meticulous records of nursing interventions to support patient safety and care quality.

The role requires a Higher Certificate in Nursing (or equivalent). CPD in specific specialties is desirable, and 1 year post-qualification experience is preferred to enhance clinical

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (as per Scope of Practice).
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting in creating a therapeutic environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted.
