Overview

Job Purpose: Correct collection, handling and transportation of samples for testing. Assist with self-collection of samples. Assist with certain medical procedures under supervision of a Registered nurse or a Doctor. Perform point of care testing.

Responsibilities

• 1. Collection / Delivery of specimens, reports and other items
• • a. Effective collection of specimens from various clients as per SOPs
  • b. Handle administrative duties and queries as appropriate
  • c. Maintain safe and housekeeping standards per OH Act.
  • d. Provide functional support in the department.
• 2. Quality Management
• • a. Ensure the correct application for quality assurance processes in standard operating procedures
  • b. Adherence to company policies and procedures
