Job summary

Mediclinic is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice, in our Sandton ward. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, identify risks and maintain accurate records of nursing interventions.

Essential education is an Enrolled Nurse Certificate with CPD in a specialist area as desirable. A year of post-qualification experience in a specialised unit is preferred but not required, with strong infection control and patient assessment

Qualifications

• Enrolled Nurse Certificate (Essential)
• CPD in a specialist area (Desirable)
• Basic life support and infection control knowledge required
• Strong patient assessment and nursing process skills
• Familiarity with nursing legislation and documentation

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
