Netcare Pretoria East Hospital is seeking an Enrolled Nurse (e/n) for the Emergency Department to provide direct and indirect nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include accurate documentation, stock handling, patient assessment, and participating in ward routines to ensure high quality care.

Candidates must be registered with SA Nursing Council as EN or equivalent (NQF 3) and comply with SANC codes and health legislation; ED experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in nursing would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and/or indirect nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and assist with stock and equipment.
• Contribute to holistic patient care and participate in ward routines and handovers.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional conduct at all times.
• Act in a supervisory capacity over ENAs and support quality improvement.

The incumbent is held accountable for his/her own acts and omissions. Nursing activities form part of a nursing regime that is planned and initiated by the Registered Nurse.
