The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse with a passion for aged care to join our Residential Facility at Mosman Park Care Centre in Mosman Park. This is a permanent part-time role offering 45 hours per fortnight. Please see the roster below.

Week 1 & 2

• Wednesday: 7:00-13:00
• Thursday: 7:00-13:00
• Friday: 7:00-13:00

Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive reviews of residents through clinical assessments
• Safely administer medication to residents
• Assist with falls management and prevention
• Implement safe practice of care plans directed by the Registered Nurse
• Support and supervise care staff
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in relation to Residents, Families, Staff and other Health Professionals
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety in accordance with Aged Care Standards and Risk Management

You are passionate about providing holistic care to aged care residents and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment alongside healthcare professionals. You will contribute to the smooth operation of the facility through effective communication and alignment with Amana Living’s core values.

Essential Criteria

• Evidence of COVID-19 and current flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6 months validity)
• Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
• Current AHPRA Registration
• NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Willingness to attend 2 days paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
