Job summary

Redheads Engineering Group in Johannesburg is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering projects from concept to production. You will own the project lifecycle, ensure proper scoping, planning, scheduling and execution within agreed timeframes, and provide technical coordination to develop, industrialize and implement new and existing products.

The role requires holding a National Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Industrial Engineering and a Project Management

Qualifications

• National Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Project Management qualification is required.
• Experience managing engineering projects from concept through to production.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably machining.
• Experience with APQP and structured new product introduction processes.

One of our clients, a manufacturer of precision machined components, has an opening for an Engineering Project Manager.

Reporting to: Engineering Manager.

The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and driving engineering projects from initial concept through to production.

The position owns the engineering project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are properly scoped, planned, scheduled and executed within agreed timeframes.

The role provides the technical coordination required to successfully develop, industrialise and implement new and existing products.
