Job summary

Unilever in Johannesburg seeks an experienced Site Engineering Manager to drive engineering projects and maintenance across the Boksburg factory. You will lead the engineering team, manage capital budgets, and deliver initiatives that improve reliability and energy efficiency.

The role requires a BSc in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, GCC, and 8–10 years in engineering with FMCG exposure. On-site, full-time, with a focus on safety, governance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BSc Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Electrical) required.
• GCC - essential for the role.
• 8–10 years' experience across Engineering roles.
• 3–5 years in FMCG / manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering strategy, maintenance, and projects across the site.
• Manage capital budget and project delivery from planning to handover.
• Oversee TPM, reliability, safety, and compliance within the plant.
