• Engineering Degree / Diploma (Mechanical or Electrical)- With GCC Mine & Works
• Solid knowledge of the Mone Health & Safety Act
• Solid knowledge of gold processing plants
• Must have knowledge of winders and be prepared to work underground
• Prepared to work stand-by, shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime

Position Info

Technical Tasks, Competencies & Experience

• Managing the overall maintenance strategy for processing plants
• Define equipment critically using a risk matrix
• Ensure compliance with & support for the mine’s maintenance processes, strategies & standardisation projects
• Ensure compliance and safety standards to the MHSA
• Establish & maintain budget parameters
• Manage staff to ensure effective & safe Engineering practices
• Conduct legal inspections and address deviations as per the MHSA & submit reports to management
