ENGINEERING MANAGER – FRESH PRODUCE FACTORY – LIMPOPO We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance operations at our Fresh Produce Factory in Polokwane, Limpopo.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive engineering and maintenance services to all factory operations.

Lead a team of artisans to offer technical advice on engineering maintenance, performance, continuous efficiency, and improvement practices.

Uphold and improve maintenance and safety standards.

Report to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

B.Tech / BEng / BSc.Eng in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering.

3+ years' experience in maintenance system management, preferably in a food / produce / canning / bottling factory.

Knowledge and experience of maintenance planning, workshop management, mechanical / electrical / plumbing / cooling / heating systems, advanced troubleshooting, determining causes of operating errors, project scoping, setting timelines, critical path analysis.

Proven people management skills and food processing / food safety knowledge an advantage.

Integrity, initiative, energy, drive, positive, level-headed mindset and structured, structured thinker, results-driven, proactive approach to system reliability.

Financial acumen, budget control discipline, excellent communication, analytical skills, attention to detail.

Valid driver's license and own transport.
