Engineering Manager – Aviation Maintenance (Part). Leadership, Compliance, Airworthiness, Expat Package PNG.

Role Overview

Lead a CASA‑approved Part Maintenance Organisation overseeing a multi‑aircraft fleet.

Shape safety, compliance, and technical excellence for a leading Pacific aviation operator.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a regulatory leadership position responsible for maintaining the company’s Part Maintenance Certificate and ensuring all maintenance, airworthiness, and technical standards meet CASA PNG and organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of aircraft maintenance planning and defect rectification
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company manuals
• Managing budgets, procurement, tooling, and facilities
• Leading a skilled technical workforce and authorising maintenance staff
• Reporting to the CEO on engineering performance, safety, and compliance

Aircraft Types

• Twin Otter DHC, Cessna B CJ3, Cessna B Caravan, and Beechcraft King Air B.

About You

You are an experienced aviation engineering professional with the leadership capability to manage a Maintenance & Repair Organisation (MRO) and uphold world‑class standards of safety and performance.

Ideally you will have:

• Proven experience managing a complex AOC or maintenance organisation
