Valterra Platinum is inviting applications for an Engineering Learnership Programme (18.2- Unemployed) - a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, expand your technical knowledge, and explore the exciting world of engineering within the mining industry.

What the Programme offers:

• Structured training that includes off‑the‑Job and workplace Training
• Successful completion of this Learnership programme will result in a nationally recognised Artisan qualification

• Learnership Electrician x 2
• Learnership Boilermaker x1
• Mechanical Fitter x 2
• Rigger x 2
• Diesel Mechanic x 2
• Earthmoving Equipment Machinery x 1
• Auto Electrician x 2
• Millwright x 2
• Measurement Control & Instrumentation x 1

Minimum Entry Requirements

• Matric/ Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical Science and English (all with minimum 40% pass), OR
• N3 or higher with all subjects as per the specific Discipline requirements below;
  • Boilermaker Plater: Plating & Structural Steelwork/Welders Theory and Plating, Structural & Steelwork Drawings
  • Electrical: Electrical Trade Theory /Electrotechnology/ Electrotechnics and Industrial Electronics, or Engineering Drawings, OR
• NCV Level - 4 in appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum 40% pass
