Earthmoving equipment.DescriptionAssembling different types of engines, with the main focus being the heavy-duty diesel engines for the mining and other industries.Includes assembly of smaller commercial vehicles from different brands.Working in a team environment with individual responsibilities and deadlines, to ensure optimum process flow and quality controlThe Engine Assembler will be the last critical control point of the quality process, performing trouble shooting and tests on the dyno, after assembling the engine.Inspecting all parts received for assembly to ensure accuracy and quality.Work together with project co-ordinators and other technicians to establish scope of work and suppling detailed reports for a quotation to the customer.Establish parts required and request orders to be placed.ProfileN2 Trade related subjects, or 5 years as qualified ArtisanRecognized Trade test certificate in Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Machinist or similar.Proficient in Afrikaans & English language.Minimum of 5 years' experience in diesel engine assemblyExperience required on the following engines : Deutz, Cummins, John Deere, Perkins, CATMust reside in Kimberley or willing to relocateWilling to work overtime where operationally required
