Job summary

Eskom Kriel Power Station invites unemployed South Africans to join its Youth Employment Service (YES) internship program. Ten positions are available for youths aged 18 to 34 with a Grade 12 or equivalent, who will work across Eskom Operations in Mpumalanga under a 12-month contract.

Selected candidates will gain valuable work experience in an energy industry setting and be assessed for future opportunities within Eskom.

Qualifications

• South African citizenship required.
• Aged between 18 and 34.
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Related minimum experience: not permanently employed with a single employer >1 year.
• Not currently studying full-time in the year of employment.
• Not previously participated in the YES initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a range of administrative activities in Eskom YES positions.
• Participate in a recruitment process and be placed in Eskom Operations across divisions.
• Adhere to Eskom policies and procedures and maintain professional conduct.
